Velari Snaffle Flex with Tongue Port Loose Ring Hard - combines a firm synthetic mouthpiece with an integrated tongue port and freely moving loose rings. The firmer Flex construction provides more pronounced feedback than softer versions and is particularly suited to horses that tend to lean on the bit or become heavy in the hand. At the same time, the tongue port creates additional space in the centre of the mouthpiece.

The mouthpiece is made from a firm synthetic material described by the manufacturer as non-toxic and horse-safe. Its smooth, rounded surface combines stable contact with clearly defined feedback. The rigid inner core allows the mouthpiece to maintain its shape under pressure and supports consistent transmission of the rein aids.

The integrated tongue port reduces constant pressure on the tongue by redistributing part of the action towards the bars. This can particularly benefit horses that require more tongue room than conventional straight mouthpieces provide. The loose rings allow additional mouthpiece mobility, can encourage light chewing activity and support precise rein aids.
