Inno Sense Swivel Port Medium
Inno Sense Swivel Port Medium- The Inno Sense Mullen mouthpiece is a straight bar with a slight tilt to the front. The mouthpiece is made from elastic plastic which has a rigid core. That makes it less pliable than the Flexi Soft, but it still has a soft touch to it. The Inno Sense Medium Post mouthpiece is made from elastic plastic, but is harder than the Flexi Soft. It is a little bit bendable. The mouthpiece has a tongue port which reduces the pressure on the middle of the horses tongue.
Inno Sense Bits
The Inno Sense collection kann be used for all types of horses, but are very suitable for young horses, as well as those that are very sensitive in the mouth. The used material is FDA approved, which indicates that the bits are non-toxic and they do not contain any plasticizers. The Inno Sense bits are available with four different mouth pieces and can be combined with all types of side pieces.
How it works:
When tension is applied to the reins, for Multiring-, 3 Ring-, Gag- & Baucherbits the pressure is distributed to the tongue to the lower jaw first and then to the neck. This gives the rider more control again with horses that are growing strong and withdrawing upwards, because horses usually react by lowering their head when the pressure is applied to the neck.
With dressage horses, the use of a baucher bit is suitable to prepare the horse for the curb. These bits are not recommended for horses that tend to withdraw downwards and tend to crawl.
The effect is even more pronounced with gag bits and 3-ring bits, as the leverage is greater due to the length of the side part and the extended gag cheek pieces through the bit ring. The best effect is achieved when using two pairs of reins. The main rein in the large ring acts on the tongue and lower jaw, the second pair of reins, buckled in the lower ring, can, if necessary, exert pressure on the poll via the cheek piece. For Swivel Bits, the effects are similar to 2,5 and 3-Ring bits but it has a softer effect, as well as a softer action on the jaw. A Swival is a ‘sliding’ bevel bit and presses against the cheek, making it easier to maneuver.
A prerequisite for this is of course a practiced and soulful rider's hand.
