Velari Gag Flex Loose Ring Single Jointed Medium - combines a single-jointed Flex Medium mouthpiece with the lifting action of a loose ring gag bit. The Medium version provides a balance between comfortable contact and additional stability, while the single-jointed construction delivers clear and direct rein communication. This makes the bit suitable for horses that benefit from greater structure while retaining the smooth surface of a synthetic mouthpiece.

The 18 mm mouthpiece is made from a medium-firm synthetic material. According to the manufacturer, the material is non-toxic, horse-safe and suitable for regular use. Its smooth surface provides comfortable contact, while the medium firmness offers greater stability than softer Flex versions. The Flex material is also designed to support active chewing and relaxation. The mouthpiece distributes pressure across the tongue and bars.

As an elevator or gag bit, the Velari Gag Flex Loose Ring Single Jointed Medium provides additional action on the corners of the mouth and the poll. This lifting influence can support horses that benefit from greater elevation and self-carriage. Due to this action, the bit is particularly intended for experienced riders with refined and controlled rein contact.
