Velari Eggbutt Flex Hard - is designed for horses that benefit from a firmer mouthpiece and a more defined connection with the rider's hand. The straight mouthpiece provides stable, even contact and maintains its shape under pressure. Compared with the Flex Soft and Flex Medium versions, the firmer construction provides more pronounced feedback and is particularly suited to horses that tend to lean or become heavy in softer mouthpieces.

The mouthpiece is made from a firm synthetic material described by the manufacturer as non-toxic and horse-safe. Despite its increased firmness, it has a smooth, rounded surface and provides a non-metal alternative for horses that require clearer feedback. The straight construction distributes pressure evenly across the tongue and bars without creating the nutcracker action associated with jointed mouthpieces.

Fixed Eggbutt rings further stabilise the mouthpiece, limit excessive lateral movement and reduce the risk of pinching at the corners of the mouth. This creates a quiet, consistent position that supports precise transmission of the rein aids. The Velari Eggbutt Flex Hard is particularly suited to horses that tend to lean or become heavy in the hand and experienced riders looking for clearer, more precise feedback during training.

If choosing DHL Express shipping, a house address and telephone number must be listed (no PO Box's).

Delivery times with standard shipping cannot be guaranteed. We highly recommend choosing express shipping if a guaranteed delivery time is required.

Import Duties

Import duties and taxes may apply depending on your country (this now includes the United Kingdom). Please check directly with your local customs authorities before placing your order. We are not responsible for any duties or taxes which may be incurred.

Please note that EquiZone Online is unable to provide a refund for any items that appear to be soiled, used or damaged in any way or items returned without original packaging and tags. Exchange of free items or bonus products is not allowed. If returned you will not receive any monetary or material compensation for them.
