Velari Snaffle Loose Ring Single Jointed Sweet Copper - combines a single-jointed mouthpiece made from nickel-free Sweet Copper with freely moving loose rings. The single-jointed construction provides clear and direct transmission of the rein aids, while the loose rings give the mouthpiece additional mobility and support a flexible connection between the horse and the rider's hand.

According to the manufacturer, the Sweet Copper mouthpiece provides a warm, naturally sweet taste that stimulates salivation and can help sensitive horses remain soft and accepting in the contact. Sweet Copper does not oxidise according to the manufacturer, allowing it to maintain its smooth surface and consistent flavour over time.

When the reins are engaged, the single-jointed mouthpiece forms a V-shape and acts across the tongue and bars. This construction provides a defined point of action and is also suitable for horses with a higher palate according to the manufacturer. The freely moving rings allow additional movement of the mouthpiece, can encourage light chewing activity and support precise transmission of the rein aids.
