Velari Snaffle Single Jointed Loose Ring Cherry Roller Sweet Iron - combines a single-jointed mouthpiece with movable cherry rollers, loose rings and sweet iron. This construction provides a direct and clearly defined connection with the rider's hand and is particularly suited to horses that become strong, take hold of the bit or benefit from additional activity in the mouth.

The mouthpiece is made from nickel-free sweet iron, which naturally oxidises during use. According to the manufacturer, this process encourages salivation and can support acceptance of the bit. The movable cherry rollers discourage the horse from taking hold of the mouthpiece while increasing tongue activity. This makes the design particularly relevant for horses that become strong in the hand or tend to grab the bit.

When the reins are taken up, the single-jointed mouthpiece forms a V-shape and provides direct transmission of the rein aids. According to the manufacturer, the design distributes pressure across the bars while relieving the tongue through the centre, making it particularly suitable for horses with a higher palate.
