Velari Gag Loose Ring Flex with Tongue Port Hard - is designed for horses that benefit from a clearer, more stable rein connection and additional tongue room. Combining a loose ring gag with a firm Flex Hard mouthpiece and tongue port, it provides more defined communication and is particularly suited to horses that lean, become heavy in the contact, or tend to ignore softer mouthpieces.

As the rider takes up the reins, the bit moves gently upward in the mouth, creating progressive pressure at the corners of the lips and behind the poll. The loose rings allow additional movement of the mouthpiece and can encourage a more flexible jaw and a more responsive connection with the rider's hand.

The Flex Hard material is made from a firm, manufacturer-described non-toxic synthetic and offers more defined feedback than softer versions without relying on a traditional metal mouthpiece. The tongue port creates additional room through the centre of the mouthpiece and shifts part of the pressure towards the bars. This makes the bit particularly suitable for horses with tongue sensitivity or a tendency to place the tongue over or around the bit.

Delivery times with standard shipping cannot be guaranteed. We highly recommend choosing express shipping if a guaranteed delivery time is required.

Import duties and taxes may apply depending on your country (this now includes the United Kingdom). Please check directly with your local customs authorities before placing your order. We are not responsible for any duties or taxes which may be incurred.
