Classic Gel Short Girth Saver Sheepskin - If you have a sensitive skinned horse or are just looking to increase their comfort, the new Acavallo Gel and sheepskin girth covers are the perfect solution. The girth savers are a perfect example of how Acavallo designs products with the horse in mind. The girth saver is based on two high-quality materials - the Acavallo gel and high-quality sheepskin. 

Incredibly soft and lightweight sheepskin provides perfect protection to sensitive horses around the girth area, whilst the Acavallo gel offers a huge range of benefits in itself including anti-slip, shock absorption, anatomical shape, durability and flexibility. Combine the two and you have a luxury product that allows your horse the freedom and comfort they need daily to perform their best.

The thickness of the gel is a determining factor and was arranged to meet the anatomical and physical needs of the horse. Acavallo determined that the correct thickness inside the girth had to be 5 mm based on extensive testing. Only in the middle part, where pressure and friction forces are higher, the gel is slightly thicker.
