Bits from the Inno Sense collection can be used for all horses, but are particularly suitable for young horses and horses with sensitive mouths. The plastic used is FDA-approved, which means that the material is non-toxic and contains no plasticizers. Experience shows that horses ridden with an Inno Sense mouthpiece follow the hand easily and accept the bit quickly. Inno Sense mouthpieces are considerably softer than metal mouthpieces. This is what most horses like about these bits. If the bit lies on the layers correctly, damage to the mouthpiece is unlikely, but not impossible due to, for example, sharp edges on the teeth.
The Inno Sense Flexi Soft bits are made of elastic plastic and are very flexible. There is a flexible metal core in the bit. The flexibility makes this a friendly bit and horses accept it very well. The Inno Sense Flexi Soft is less suitable for strong horses.
The Inno Sense Mullen is a straight bar that slightly bends forward. This mouthpiece is fabricated of synthetic material. The bit has a rigid core that makes the mullen bar not flexible but the material around it still gives the bit a soft touch.
The Inno Sense Port Medium is made of elastic plastic, harder than the Flexi Soft. The Inno Sense Port Medium is slightly flexible. This mouthpiece has a tongue arch which provides less pressure on the centre of the horse’s tongue. More tongue freedom is ideal for horses that have a sensitive tongue or horses that stick out their tongue.
The Inno Sense Port Hard is made of elastic plastic, harder than the Tongue Arch Medium. The Inno Sense Port Hard is hard to bend. This mouthpiece has a tongue arch which provides less pressure on the centre of the horse’s tongue. More tongue freedom is ideal for horses that have a sensitive tongue or horses that stick their tongue out.
