Velari Snaffle Loose Ring Single Jointed Sweet Iron - combines a single-jointed mouthpiece made from nickel-free Sweet Iron with freely moving loose rings. The single-jointed construction provides clear and direct transmission of the rein aids, while the loose rings give the mouthpiece additional mobility and support a flexible connection between the horse and the rider's hand.

The Sweet Iron mouthpiece naturally oxidises during use and develops a light patina over time. According to the manufacturer, this process encourages salivation and can support softer, more relaxed acceptance of the bit. The material therefore combines direct communication with the characteristic properties of Sweet Iron.

When the reins are engaged, the single-jointed mouthpiece forms a V-shape and acts across the tongue and bars. This construction provides a clearly defined point of action and is also suitable for horses with a higher palate according to the manufacturer.
