Beris Pelham With Eggbutt Bar - The olive head bar is a universally applicable mouthpiece, it lies very quietly in the horse's mouth and the olives on the side effectively prevent the lips from being pinched. The Pelham - a classic with a more elegant design refined by us. When the reins are accepted, the bit acts on the mouth, lower jaw and neck. Depending on the length of the reins (5 cm or 7.5 cm), a different and immediate bite angle can be achieved in the mouth. Possible use with horses that have difficulty going through the nape of the neck, with 'hot' horses or also with horses that need clear influence in critical situations (jabbing or similar). The Pelham is supplied with a chin chain hook.

The protection of the sensitive horse's mouth is a top priority for beris. From the bit ring to the intricate cheek pieces: every metal part is formed, welded and polished by hand.
The innovative design of the mouthpiece also ensures better acceptance of the bit and facilitates communication between horse and rider. The beris mouthpieces are made of a food-safe plastic compound, processed and provided with a surface finish that is unprecedented in the field of plastic bits. Their surface is very smooth and they slide easily in the mouth, even if the horse does not produce much saliva. Practically all horses like our mouthpieces.
