The Eggbutt rings keep the mouthpiece quieter in the horse's mouth, limit excessive lateral movement and support consistent transmission of the rein aids. The fixed construction also reduces the risk of pinching at the corners of the mouth.

Made entirely from stainless steel, the mouthpiece provides a neutral, straightforward contact. The strong, rust-resistant material is designed for regular use and features a smooth surface. When the reins are taken, the single-jointed mouthpiece forms a V-shape and transmits the aids directly across the tongue and bars, creating a clearly defined point of action without additional mouthpiece movement or material stimulation.
