Description
Velari Eggbutt Double Jointed Stainless Steel - combines a double-jointed stainless steel mouthpiece with fixed Eggbutt sides. The double-jointed construction distributes pressure evenly across the tongue and bars and provides a balanced, clear connection. The fixed Eggbutt rings keep the mouthpiece quiet in the horse's mouth and support consistent transmission of the rein aids.
Made from rust-resistant stainless steel, the mouthpiece provides a neutral, straightforward contact without additional material stimulation. Its smooth surface and strong construction make the bit suitable for regular use. At the same time, the double-jointed design reduces the nutcracker effect associated with single-jointed mouthpieces and follows the natural shape of the horse's mouth more evenly.
By reducing upward movement towards the roof of the mouth, the double-jointed construction is also suitable for horses with a lower palate according to the manufacturer. The fixed Eggbutt rings limit excessive lateral movement and reduce the risk of pinching at the corners of the mouth. The Velari Eggbutt Double Jointed Stainless Steel is therefore suited to horses that prefer a neutral, stable bit with balanced pressure distribution.
