Kavalkade Short Girth with Lambskin Moon - The Moon Girth is a specially cut girth with genuine lambskin, especially suitable for horses that are very narrow in the front but have a short back and wide rib cage. Saddles often slip forward on these horses, but the half-moon cut of this girth provides sufficient support, while at the same time allowing greater elbow freedom.

Why is lambskin used? For one thing, it has an anti-allergic effect and is antiseptic, which means that horses with sensitive skin can also wear it. In addition, lambskin promotes blood circulation in the horses' muscles. Due to its natural creation, the fur literally massages the muscles when riding. Moreover, no heat accumulation develops under medical lambskin. Due to the natural creation, the fur has a temperature balancing effect and the horses do not sweat so quickly underneath. A genuine lambskin girth also has the special property of being dimensionally stable. This means that the fur straightens up again after every ride. Despite perspiration, the shape is retained.
