Gag Full Cheek Flex with Tongue Port

Velari Gag Full Cheek Flex with Tongue Port - combines gag action with the lateral stability and guidance of full cheek sides. Its curved bar mouthpiece features a tongue port to provide additional room for the tongue, while the full cheek design supports clearer directional aids. Velari offers this Full Cheek Gag configuration with a 20 mm Flex mouthpiece and tongue port.

The full cheek sides stabilize the bit laterally in the horse's mouth and provide additional guidance through turns. At the same time, the gag construction creates an upward action and poll pressure when engaged. This combination can be useful for horses that require additional support with balance, elevation and directional control.

The curved bar mouthpiece provides continuous contact, while the integrated tongue port creates additional space through the centre of the mouthpiece. This shifts part of the pressure towards the bars. Combining a curved bar, tongue port, full cheek sides and gag action, this bit is intended primarily for experienced riders who can use its different actions with appropriate feel and timing.
