La Cense is an equestrian training center based on the human-horse relationship. It's programs are built around horse training and equine ethology, the science that studies horse behavior. The La Cense method consists of a horse and rider training program with a gradation of exercises. It all starts with knowing the nature of the horse. Ethology gives us knowledge about the animal and the way it lives, communicates and learns. The horse's nature is different from ours, that is why it is important ti know and understand how horses think and act so we can improve our relationships. The rider is an instructor who works with the horses mind, not just its body. It is important to explain things to the horse, to convince, no force it to act. The rider must find the means to get the horse to understand and do what it is being asked to do and to express its full physical potential.
