Velari Eggbutt Soft Flex Soft - is designed for particularly sensitive horses that prefer a soft, forgiving and stable contact. Its straight, ultra-flexible mouthpiece combines a soft synthetic coating with a flexible inner core that adapts with movement in the horse's mouth. Integrated bit guards help prevent the lips from touching metal, keeping contact focused on the soft synthetic material.

According to the manufacturer, the smooth outer layer is made from a non-toxic, horse-safe synthetic compound suitable for daily use. The high degree of flexibility helps cushion rein aids and distribute pressure more smoothly. Its straight bar construction avoids the nutcracker effect associated with jointed mouthpieces while flexibly following the natural shape of the horse's mouth. At 20 mm thick, the mouthpiece provides broad pressure distribution across the tongue and bars.

The fixed Eggbutt sides provide additional stability and limit excessive lateral movement of the mouthpiece. This creates a quieter position in the mouth that can particularly suit sensitive horses and young horses learning to accept a bit.
