Eggbutt Flex Medium

Velari Eggbutt Flex Medium - is designed for horses that benefit from a balance between flexibility and clear feedback. The straight, flexible mouthpiece lies evenly across the tongue and bars and provides a more stable contact than the softer Flex Soft version. Fixed Eggbutt rings further stabilise the mouthpiece and support a quiet, consistent connection between the horse and the rider's hand.

The outer layer is made from a medium-firm synthetic material described by the manufacturer as non-toxic and suitable for regular use. Inside, a flexible core provides enough give for the mouthpiece to follow natural jaw movement. The smooth surface combines clearer feedback with a comfortable feel and can support active chewing and relaxation.

The straight construction has no joints and therefore avoids the nutcracker action associated with jointed bits. Fixed Eggbutt rings limit excessive lateral movement and reduce the risk of pinching at the corners of the mouth. The Velari Eggbutt Flex Medium is particularly suited to horses in consistent training that require more structure than a softer mouthpiece while still benefiting from a degree of flexibility.
