Velari Eggbutt Flex with Tongue Port Soft - is designed for horses that prefer a soft, yielding mouthpiece with additional tongue room. The flexible mouthpiece supports a quiet and consistent connection, while the fixed Eggbutt rings keep the bit stable in the horse's mouth and limit excessive lateral movement.

The outer layer is made from a soft synthetic material described by the manufacturer as non-toxic and suitable for daily use. The flexible inner core provides a degree of give and can adapt to natural movement within the horse's mouth. Horses that dislike rigid or metal mouthpieces may particularly benefit from the softer, smooth material.

The integrated tongue port creates additional space through the centre of the mouthpiece and redirects part of the pressure away from the tongue towards the bars. This can particularly benefit horses with tongue sensitivity or horses that tend to stick their tongue out. The fixed Eggbutt rings further stabilise the mouthpiece, reduce the risk of pinching at the corners of the mouth and support quiet, consistent transmission of the rein aids.
