The Hard version provides more pronounced feedback than the softer Flex options and is particularly suited to horses that become strong in the hand or tend to lean on softer mouthpieces. The different rein attachment points allow the intensity of the action to be adjusted according to the selected position.

The mouthpiece is made from a firm synthetic material described by the manufacturer as non-toxic and suitable for long-term use. Despite its increased firmness, the surface remains smooth and rounded, while the rigid inner core allows the mouthpiece to maintain its shape under pressure.
