The profile of the beris KONNEX bar is slimmer and it lies very comfortably in the horse's mouth. Suitable for horses with little space in the mouth, e.g. thoroughbreds or older horses (due to altered tooth position), horses with large tongues and especially for horses that are sensitive to pressure points on the tongue. The bit fits perfectly in the mouth due to its slight curve. The pressure of the bit changes the angle of the bit in the mouth and the special shape has a stronger effect on the bars and tongue. The shaped transition from the mouthpiece to the bit rings facilitates pinching and gives the bit a particularly stable lateral hold.
