Stübben Back Protector - by collaborating with the leading producer of back protectors for motor cyclists, skiers and boarders, Stübben have been able to develop an innovative back protector for horse riders. Unlike many others available on the market, the Stübben back protector offers high comfort, and at the same time, highly effective protection of the spine, which is exposed to the highest risk of injury.

The back protector is a sandwhich construction consisting of thermo-elastic foams. Contrary to a traditional, hard case protector, in a Stübben back protector the full impact of the crash is dissipated evenly across the whole area and the risk of spinal injuries is thus reduced to a minimum. The back protector is certified to motorcycle standards EN 1621-2 and has passed the so called, Curbtest, the hardest of all quality standards, as well as already winning several comparative tests. In recent tests, a sensationally low residual energy value was measured with: 5.1 KN (central) which is far below the legal requirement of 9 KN. The Stübben back protector absorbs up to 95% of the impact energy, and thus offers the best protection values.

The sandwich structure functions in a similar way to a crumple zone in a car. Due to the influence of body heat, the protector adjusts to the body contours and thus offers a safe fit and maximum wearing comfort. Due to its perfect fit and its low weight, 400 - 1000 grams, it is comfortable and allows fantastic freedom of movement.

The back protector covers the full length of the spine and is available in many elastic, unisex sizes. Because of its lightweight construction and simply vest like cut, it can be optimally combined with a show jacket.

Shipping information

All orders placed with EquiZone Online are packed and sent from our warehouse in Germany. We aim to have all orders sent out within 2-5 days, however, we hold the right for delays in the holiday season or during sale periods (such as Black Friday). If we currently do not have an item in stock we will inform you of the estimated arrival time of the product.

Free shipping does not apply to items with special shipping fees. This can include larger items such as tack boxes or jumping equipment or heavy shipments.

If choosing DHL Express shipping, a house address and telephone number must be listed (no PO Box's).

Returns information

If you are not satisfied with your product in any way, EquiZone Online gives you 30 days to return or exchange your items. Please note that EquiZone Online is unable to provide a refund for any items that appear to be soiled, used or damaged in any way or items returned without original packaging and tags. Exchange of free items or bonus products is not allowed. If returned you will not receive any monetary or material compensation for them.
