Heavy Duty Halter

Kentucky Heavy Duty Halter - has been specifically developed for professional use and controlled in-hand handling. Its exceptionally robust construction provides a durable alternative to conventional halters, making it particularly suitable for strong, young or spirited horses that require reliable equipment during demanding handling situations. Combining hard-wearing materials with carefully considered details, this halter is designed for strength without overlooking the horse's comfort.

Made from thick, durable nylon, the halter features reinforced stitching around the jaw area to withstand demanding use. The reduced number of metal fittings helps minimise potential weak points, while a sturdy metal buckle with Kentucky's signature finish completes the design. The headpiece is reinforced with high-quality artificial leather, adding durability while remaining comfortable against the horse's skin. Two strong metal rings on the noseband allow greater freedom of movement and can help reduce unnecessary pressure during handling.

The Kentucky Heavy Duty Halter is especially suited to professional handlers working with draft horses, young or energetic horses, and horses that pull or lean heavily when led. It is intended exclusively for supervised in-hand use. Because of its heavy-duty construction, the halter is not designed to break or release under pressure. It must never be left on an unattended horse and should always be removed immediately after handling.
