These safety vests provide equestrians extra protection over the upper body, namely the spine, neck, tail bone and ribs. There are traditional back or body protectors and airbag vests. The airbag vests are equipped with cartridges and will inflate during a fall. There's a leash connecting the air vest and the saddle. When the rider fall s and the leash is pulled, it will open the gas cartridge and activate the vest to give the rider maximum protection.
