Velari 3 Rings Bit with Tongue Port Soft - combines a soft, flexible mouthpiece with an integrated tongue port and a versatile 3-ring configuration. The soft version is particularly suited to horses with sensitive mouths or those that prefer a more forgiving mouthpiece. At the same time, the different rein attachment options allow the action to be adjusted from more direct to more pronounced leverage.

The outer layer is made from a soft synthetic material described by the manufacturer as non-toxic and suitable for daily use. Its flexible inner core allows a degree of adaptation to natural movement in the horse's mouth. This creates a soft and comfortable contact that can particularly suit horses that dislike rigid or metal mouthpieces.

The integrated tongue port creates additional space through the centre of the mouthpiece and redirects part of the pressure away from the tongue towards the bars. This can benefit horses with tongue sensitivity as well as horses that tend to stick their tongue out or evade tongue pressure. At the same time, the mouthpiece remains sufficiently stable under pressure to provide clear rein aids.

The 3-ring construction combines lifting action with leverage. The intensity of the aid changes depending on the selected rein attachment point. A lower rein position creates a more pronounced leverage effect, making this bit particularly suitable for experienced riders who can regulate the action with precision and feel.
